This poem prayer was inspired by a verse I read: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
It’s my hope and prayer that, as you read the poem prayer below, your own heart will long for the true freedom that only Christ gives, and desire to continue walking in that freedom. 🙂

Thank You Jesus,
For making me free.
Thank You Jesus,
For destroying the sinful yoke that was on me.
Now I pray, Lord God,
That You’d keep me free.
Now I pray, Lord God,
As I bow on my knees–
That You’ll help me to ever stand
In the liberty
By which Jesus, Your Son,
Has made me
Free
Amen!
