Let’s Ask God To Raid Hollywood!!!

Happy Holidays, everyone! I’m sure that a lot of you are enjoying the holidays with friends, family, and–of course–opening gifts.

Speaking of gifts, recently I’ve been thinking that, during this Christmas season, we as Christians ought to give a special gift to Hollywood.

WHAT?! You may be thinking.

But yeah, seriously, we as a Christian community should give Hollywood a special Christmas gift.

But, you may be thinking. What kind of Christmas gift?

Special Challenge

So, recently I’ve started to pray for a certain actress.

Then, this crazy idea struck me.

Wouldn’t it be cool if EVERY Christian were to do something similar? To pray for a certain celebrity for–I don’t know–maybe a whole year? Like, what if EVERY person within EVERY Christian church took a minute to simply pray for the salvation of actors, actresses, musicians, athletes, writers, and even Youtubers!

Guys, for a WHOLE DAY, this idea couldn’t be shaken out of my head. It just kept running through my mind until the moment I finally spilled it out on this blog post.

So, this is honestly the kind of special Christmas gift we as Christians should give Hollywood.

The gift of intercessory prayer for its celebrities.

A Brief FAQ Concerning This Prayer Challenge

I understand if some of you have various questions bouncing through your minds about what I call The Hollywood Prayer Raid Challenge. So, below is a little FAQ to help answer the questions you might have.

Q: Do I have to pray for a Hollywood celebrity?

A: No, you can pray for any famous person you want, as long as they fulfill two important standards:
1. They’re famous/well-known (musicians, singers, athletes, authors, Youtubers, social media influencers, and artists count)
2. They’re secular (i.e. there’s no Christianity associated with their job–people like Joel Olsteen or Joyce Meyer, for example)

Q: What if I don’t know exactly who to pray for?

A: You can just Google “famous celebrity” or “famous musician” or “famous author” (depending on who you personally wish to pray for), and randomly pick someone. Or, better yet, PRAY & ASK GOD who to pray for!

Q: I love the whole idea of this Prayer Challenge. But, I’m too busy. Is there some way I can still participate in it?

A: Of course! You DON’T HAVE to participate in The Hollywood Prayer Raid Challenge as an INDIVIDUAL! It’s totally fine to participate in The Hollywood Prayer Raid Challenge as a group! Whether you decide to do it as a family, as a couple, as a Bible Study group, as a Sabbath School, or even as a church, it’s totally fine.

A: The Hollywood Prayer Raid Challenge is gonna start…well, whenever you want to start it. There’s no start nor end date to it.
